The Data Security Inc HD-5T is an Advanced Magnetic Field Strength Chamber Degausser which is NSA approved meeting CESG Highest Level requirements, for the Quick, Easy and Permanent Erasure of Top Secret Magnetic Tape and Hard Disk Drive Media that is classified up to and including Business Impact Level 6 (BIL6). It is listed on the National Security Agency Evaluated Products List-Degausser (EPL-Degausser), NSA/CSS-EPL-9-12A and meets the DoD and CESG requirements for purging classified information on Longitudinal and Perpendicular Magnetic Disk Storage Devices up to 5000 Oersteds and Magnetic Tape Storage Devices up to 2800 Oersteds. The unique Internal Magnetic Field Verification satisfies requirements for all Degausser testing.
Energy Efficient:
The HD-5T Degausser has a built-in Energy Efficient Saving Feature – the uninterrupted use decreases the Cycle Time as the Degausser which is able to retain a portion of the energy for re-use in the Next Cycle. Therefore the continuous use of the HD-5T Degausser shortens the cycle time and reduces the amount of energy consumed.
Fast Erasure
The Chamber of the HD-5T Degausser accommodates multiple pieces of Magnetic Media at the same time, up to 1’’ (26 mm) by 4’’ (102 mm) by 6’’ (152 mm) in size. By combining Multiple Tapes and Hard Drives it reduces the amount of Time and Labour required to Degauss your Media.
A unique feature of the HD-5T is its ability to both Measure and Guarantee Performance. Internal sensors measure the Magnetic Field Strength of each Cycle and then report the results on the Front Display Panel to verify your media is being properly Degaussed each and every time.
With the HD-5T Deployment Case, you have the ability to safely take your Degausser anywhere that it is needed. The Heavy-duty, Impact-resistant Shipping, Storage, and Transportation Case with Interior Custom moulded Padding ensures your HD-5T Degausser will be protected when moved from one location to the next. With four sturdy wheels set on casters, you have the freedom to move the Degausser to the Media. Offering more than just Storage, the Deployment Case can double as a cart. Simply place the HD-5T on top of the Closed Case. Made of Durable, Impact Resistant High Density Polyethylene with Reinforced Steel Corners, the HD-5T Deployment Case includes a Heavy-duty, Locking Latch System for the Secure Transportation of your valued investment.
